Veterinary expenses can vary depending on the type of visit, testing, and treatment your pet needs. Trinity Veterinary Hospital provides clear examination fees and several payment options to help you prepare for routine care, illnesses, injuries, and more involved treatment plans.
Payment is due at the time services are provided unless an approved VetBilling payment plan has been arranged. We accept major credit cards, cash, checks, CareCredit, and pet insurance.
Examination Fees
Our examination fees reflect the type, timing, and complexity of your pet’s appointment.
Level 1 Exam — $59
A Level 1 exam is a routine wellness examination for a healthy pet. These appointments may include a physical exam, preventive care recommendations, vaccinations, parasite screening, and age-appropriate health discussions.
Level 2 Exam — $68
A Level 2 exam is intended for pets with major or minor medical concerns. This may include symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, changes in appetite, skin problems, limping, or other signs of illness.
Level 3 Exam — $78
A Level 3 exam applies to work-in appointments or advanced cases that require additional evaluation because of their complexity or urgency.
STAT Exam — $125
A STAT exam is reserved for pets who need immediate evaluation and must be prioritized within the hospital’s schedule.
Exam fees cover the veterinarian’s examination. Diagnostics, treatments, procedures, medications, and other services are charged separately. Our team will explain recommended services and provide available cost information before moving forward with treatment.
Flexible Financing Options
Whether you’re looking for a versatile healthcare credit card or a payment plan provided by our animal hospital, we’re able to offer financing options to fit your needs.
VetBilling
VetBilling gives eligible clients the opportunity to divide qualifying veterinary expenses into installment payments rather than paying the entire balance at once.
All VetBilling plans must be established through Trinity Veterinary Hospital. Availability is subject to eligibility and the hospital’s payment-plan requirements.
To establish a VetBilling plan:
- New clients must provide a 50% deposit.
- Current clients must provide a 30% deposit.
- The balance remaining after the deposit must be at least $300.
Additionally, the amount placed on the VetBilling plan must total $300 or more after the required deposit has been paid.
Please speak with our team before treatment begins if you are interested in using VetBilling. Approval is not guaranteed, and plans cannot be established independently through the VetBilling website.
CareCredit
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used for veterinary expenses, giving pet owners a way to pay for care over time. It may be helpful for routine visits, unexpected illnesses, dental care, surgery, emergency treatment, and other approved veterinary services
Another key benefit of CareCredit is that it can also be used at participating human healthcare providers, including dentists, optometrists, doctors, and more.
If you are interested in using CareCredit, you can learn more or apply through our direct link before your pet’s appointment. This can help you make care decisions with more confidence when treatment is recommended.
Planning Ahead With Pet Insurance
Pet insurance can help offset eligible veterinary expenses when your pet becomes sick or injured. Most providers require you to pay the veterinary hospital at the time of service and then submit a claim for reimbursement.
Coverage, deductibles, reimbursement rates, waiting periods, and exclusions vary by provider and policy. Routine wellness care may require optional coverage or may not be included. Review each policy carefully so you understand what it covers before enrolling.
