TRINITY VETERINARY HOSPITAL RESPONSE TO COVID-19

The doctors and staff of Trinity Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort strive to provide superior care to our patients and quality customer service to our clients.  In the midst of COVID-19 pandemic we are diligently working to make serving our guests as safe as possible while continuing to provide health care to those pets in need.  This situation is not static, and we are continually updating our protocols to follow guidelines set by various government and health agencies.  We are being proactive to find solutions and unique options for our clients so that we can continue to provide our services while also limiting the spread of this novel viral organism.  Below is an outline of how we plan to achieve this.

VIRTUAL CARE (telemedicine and teletriage)

We have partnered with ANIPANION, a telemedicine pioneer that provides a platform for video calls and chat sessions that can be scheduled with a veterinarian.  This will allow clients to have access to veterinary care if quarantined or unable to leave their homes for any reason.  This option is limited to clients that have a “Valid Client Patient Relationship” with the veterinarian on call at that time.  New clients may be able to utilize this service for Teletriage only – no diagnosis will be made but advice on emergency care may be given.  For more information on this legal restriction please visit:

CONTACTLESS SERVICE 

We will be allowing clients back into the building for appointments as of May 1st.  Masks will be required according to city guidelines.  We continue to ask clients that are not feeling well to wait for an appointment if possible to limit exposure to staff and other clients.  Clients are not going to be required to come into the building and we are still encouraging curb-side service if preferred

OFFICE HOURS

We have continued our hours except will be closing early on Tuesday and Thursday (6pm).

DISINFECTION OF FACILITY

We pride our selves in a clean, odor free facility.  In light of the infectious nature and non-clinical carriers of the virus we have increased our efforts.  Even with contactless service we will continue internal disinfection and staff will wear protective attire during any contact outside of the facility.

Trinity Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort will continue all services.

FUTURE CHANGES 

The current situation is fluid and can change at a moment’s notice.  Any changes and notifications will be updated thru Facebook and on this website.  As soon as the Anipanion platform has been finalized we will notify clients thru Facebook and on this website.
